Ever got a Twitter follow notification from a Twitter user with a spammy name like “Satellite TV for PC”? Did you notice they’re following thousands of people, but not all those people are following them back?

The account might be a Twitter follow bot: an automated script that follows thousands of users in the hope some of them might return the follow and subscribe to the spammy messages.
